I'm going to be taking a bit of a break from LO. I have no idea how long or short it will be. But I have a lot to deal with so....

2017 has been a terrible year personally and politically-it's shaken me to my core if I'm being brutally honest about it. I'm hoping 2018 brings a better path on all fronts. I'm still learning how to be single after 17 years and it's an education.

This time of year never sits well with me. I used to love Christmas but somewhere along the line-and I can't nail it down exactly-it's gone from a celebration to anything but. I hate the over consumerism, the fake 'war on Christmas' BS, and the music.

Of course, I'm probably in the minority and that's fine too. To each his own. For those who love this time of year I wish you the best Christmas possible.

Contemplating how to deal with a friend who is gradually ending our friendship. It came out of nowhere and we haven't talked about it but it's coming. How does that saying go-"No one so that busy, it's just how far down you are on the priority list." I am very far down on that list but my gut tells me I'll be off the list sooner rather than later.

Watching the news which since BLOTUS is awful. As usual. I hope the protest voters are happy for what they've given us.

And FYI for any gay man who voted for BLOTUS just know you voted for a man that is already trying to chip away at the Obergefell decision. Congratulations.
