there are two ways to go with this... one is that people aren't just exhibitionists IRL, and show off without really caring about the input from random strangers...the other is that this is the internet... even sites like this can have douchecanoes in the comments section...

If one has a good following, I imagine they can be comfortable limiting comments to friends only; that said, folks do crazy stuff on this site and the Internet. I think it's wise to configure one's LO account to members only.
