Interests

InterestsWhat hasn't been covered below is that I am a Witch, a Herbalist, and a writing working on my first full-length books on herb-lore! I am also in transition and looking for work in Seattle, which is where I plan to move this June.
MusicMany styles: jazz; rock (I love a well-written Power Ballad!); pop; musical theatre; *some* classical; and I am definitely a "techno slut" as I like to say. Also, Cher is my Queen! I am a musician and studied music in college. It wasn't a good experience so I'd like to enroll in another program to attain a degree in Music Education.
MoviesThe Wicker Man (circa 1970s!); Practical Magic; The Mists of Avalon; Clash of the Titans (circa 1980s, 'cause Harry Hamlin made me Pagan!); A Nightmare on Elm Street (circa 1980s); any very well written horror movies: Insidious; V/H/S; and Grave Encounters. I also love old romantic film noir, such as: A Street Car Named Desire (Marlon Brando was sex on legs!). I also enjoy documentaries. There are likely many, many others that I have forgotten.
TelevisionHonestly, I don't watch much TV anymore, and I absolutely despise so-called "reality TV"; but, here are a few programs that I enjoy: 2 Broke Girls; American Dad; Big Bang Theory
BooksAgain, too numerous to list, because I am a freelance historian and folklorist with an emphasis in Celtic Studies, Indo-European Studies, herb-lore, seasonal festivals, and Gay history (a fav. being Arthur Evans' "Witchcraft and the Gay Counterculture"). My personal reference/ research library is well over 1,000 books! I also enjoy the historical novels of Mary Renault.
