InterestsI am a geek at heart. Love gadgets, new technologies & all the cool things you can do with them.

I mostly enjoy things that involve other people - dinner in a nice restaurant, drinks and good conversation in a quiet bar, an afternoon at the ballpark, or a game of bowling on a team with my friends.

I also like to think that I am open to learning new things that another friend might want to teach to me...

Basically, if it involves interacting with others, I'm all over it!
MusicI'm a smooth jazz nut first and foremost - Smooth Jazz 24/7 (www.smoothjazz247.com) is on almost all the time when I'm near a computer.

But that doesn't mean I don't like other genres (except for, perhaps opera and heavy metal, both of which sound like fingernails across a chalk board to me). I've been known to land on everything from classic country to classical on the radio.
MoviesI'm a sci-fi nut, with the Star Trek movies being my all-time favorite. But I also enjoy action, comedy and drama. And horror films? I classify them as "comedies" because they are just too unrealistic to me.
TelevisionIn order of preference: Star Trek TNG; Doctor Who (both classic & the new series); Star Trek Voyager; Babylon 5; Star Trek TOS; Star Trek DS9.

I've also enjoyed watching: Madam Secretary; Designated Survivor; Boston Legal; The West Wing; Newsradio; Psych; Torchwood, and much of the classic British comedies.

A DVR and Netflix are my friends!
BooksI generally read non-fiction stuff. Biographies & Autobiographies, and self help type books.
