Interests

Music	I listen to a unique mix...I feel like I'm lost without my Ipod...I like sarah mclaughlin/tori amos/regina spektor when I'm too energized and need to relax. I like relient k, all-american rejects/stone sour when I'm too tired and need to wake up. The rest of the time I listen to everything from Musicals to the great Sir Elton John, to Christian, Rock, and Alternative...I'm really not incredibly picky about the style, just the vocalists. I really don't like Rap though...but everynow and then i get this unexplained desire to listen to eminem...I don't understand myself sometimes :-)
Movies	I love movies...I have an extensive DVD collection, and I have seen many more that what I have at the moment. Everything is fair game. I'll usually watch anything once, but if it's really well made, and can invoke laughter, tears, or other powerful emotions, I will usually buy it.
Television	I don't get to watch TV very often...I usually watch tons of movies instead. On the rare occasion that I DO get to watch TV I like to watch shows like the CSI series', All of the Law & Orders(except for CI I don't really enjoy that one), Stargate SG-1, Noah's Arc...etc. But for the most part I just purchase the seasons of what I want to watch, so I can see all of the episodes at my leisure. But for a few shows like Smallville, I pull out the VCR and record it so I can watch it when I return home from work.
Books	I read a lot of books, from a lot of genres. I love sci-fi, general fiction, poetry, classic literature, biographies, mysteries, I don't enjoy romance novels at all...especially the ones termed "bodice rippers," I love suspense novels, horror is okay, but I'll take home a suspense novel before a horror novel any day.
