Interests

Interests	I was born blind, but now I have some vision and am considered legally blind. I enjoy making hook latch rugs. If you would like to see some of the rugs I've made, check out the "Omar's Rug's" photo album in my pictures. I really enjoy playing on Facebook, and keeping up with friends. I am an active member of my local UCC congregation, I am head of the Warm Welcome Team. And I am a speaker about my experience as a gay man dealing with the rejection of the Charismatic movement. I also speak publicly for my job and let people know what kinds of services we have to offer the blind and visually impaired. I enjoy cooking. I enjoy going to museums with my husband, Glenn. We enjoy speaking to the student nurses at Jefferson Univ. in Philly, about how to better serve the HIV/AIDS population. It is hard for me to believe that we have been in Florida for almost 10 years now. I love Cowboys! If your in a hat and boots I just can't get enough of you!! WOOF WOOF :) Hairy is a ++++++++ lol
Music	I like all types of music, except rap. I'm into Country and Dance music. And you can't beat the '70's-'90's for some good music.
Movies	Glenn and I really enjoy Netflix. Because we can watch all kinds of shows with it. We try to go out to the movies at least once a month, more if we can.
Television	Ok, I'll do this by Day: Sunday: Pose, Next Food Network Star, Claws Monday: Tuesday: Beat Shazam, Wednesday: Brother Vs. Brother , Guy's Grocery Game, Ellen's Game of Games Thursday: Match Game, Star Trek Discovery, The Orville Friday:Rue Paul's Drag Race Saturday: Say Yes to the Dress This will change as the seasons change on TV.
Books	Since I started working, my reading has really dropped off. I enjoy Anne Rice, and The Tea Shop Mystery series. I'm also reading the Charlie Fox series my Zoe Sharp. I also like the In Death series by J.D. Robb. And then I have my theological books I am always reading one of those.
