Interests

Interests	architecture, big interest in mid-century at the moment, particularly west coast modern. civil engineering, as in dams and highways, pretty much anything built. my time at the gym is my down time, i like to get there about 3X a week. Road trips i always enjoy, must make time for more of them. i would like to explore the U.S. gulf coast and American mid-west.
Music	huge range, i listen to music all day at work so home time is pretty much quiet for me. love dance beat, house, funk, county/pop crossover.
Movies	action, schmaltz, suspense a big plus. favs include THe Others, Ordinary People, American History X, Skeleton Key. i can enjoy a movie that looks great even if the story sucks. i tend to go to the theatres alone, but watch dvds with friends. big fan of nicole kidman, my favorite movie this year is Stoker, with Nicole and Matthew Good. Also liked Olympus Has Fallen, THis is The End, World War Z,and Side Effects. Absolutely hated Gatsby and walked out of Elysium after an hour. More holes in that plot than a crocheted blanket..............I looked forward to Gatsby for 18 months, watched the trailer a hundred times, the trailer is way better than the movie.....
Television	mostly dont watch tv, just late news before bed. However I am addicted to Once Upon a Time, The Good Wife and NASHVILLE!
Books	not a lot of time to read other than technical books, sad to say. i like historical fiction and a good mystery. I did however recently read Wicked and the sequel, Son of a Witch and enjoyed both. I also like anything by David Sedaris, he is so funny............
