Interests

Interests	I am a pretty simple man, intelligent, caring and generous. I have a very quirky, dry sense of humor, sometimes dark (think "Six Feet Under"). I try to be kind but like everyone sometimes a person might rub me wrong. I am quick to apologize when I am wrong though and not at all afraid to admit my mistakes. I don't drink or smoke although I used to do both so I am no preacher against either. I am fiercely loyal to my friends and make friendships that last a lifetime. I still have several friends that I went to middle school with (only we called it Junior High back then). I love pets, and have two cats. I am often seen as being pretty serious but any of my friends will tell you I am a big child! I love people to view my profile and even send comments, but please don't ask to be my friend without having communicated with me a couple of times. I don't understand why someone would add 1,000+ "friends" most of whom they have never even sent a message to. Is that the point of the site to collect the most?
Music	I listen to mostly classical music although I like most genre's. I am not big on hip-hop or "teeny pop". I have been over Cher since the 60's! Don't get me wrong she is talented, I just don't care for her.
Movies	I love "thinkers", "A River Runs Through It", "Gone With the Wind", etc. but I also love good action flicks. I am not much for slapstick but do love a good comedy and also really dig "chick flicks". "Steele Magnolias" is one of the most quotable movies of all time and if you agree, you know I love you more than my luggage! ;-D
Television	"Friends" re-runs, A&E, movies, "Six Feet Under", "Oz", "Bones" "Band of Brothers".
Books	Just about any historical novel, spy thrillers, again, "thinkers".
