Its been 10 years since I've seen or spoken to my ex. Yet, I think about him every day. Yes, I am well aware that there is other people out there. However, I miss him a lot. But I think I miss the person I wanted him to be, rather than the person he was. We had a few good times, but the duration of our relationship was a lot of stress and full of lies. I have only had one real live-in relationship, and it lasted about 2 years, until he decided to break it off so he could explore sex with other men. I missed the companionship for a couple years, and thought about him constantly. I moved on to see other men as well. He lives in the same small village as I do. We are still friends and see each other every day, but the sexual contact has been lost.

My ex and I lasted for 2 years but we were barely together in that time. (Long story) but I felt he was married and just didnt want to tell me. He swore up and down he wasnt. I actually begged him to tell me he was married because then his behavior would all make sense. It was allegedly his first male relationship so he was hesitant. It's been over 10 years since my ex and I split. He was also my first. We were together for 6 years. The worst 6 years of my life to say the least. Since then, he's had 6 other relationships that went sour. I haven't had the first one other than a couple casual hookup's over the years. It was difficult at first but just like everything else. It just takes time to heal a wound. Sure, I think about him. I don't "hate" him. I wish him the best. I just keep my distance far away from him...

Hey Lone Wolf! I totally understand what you mean! The two years (off and on) with my ex were hell also. I mean there was a few good times, but he wasnt ready for what I wanted from him, and what I wanted, wasnt a lot actually. But it always seemed he had ulterior motives. And yes time does heal all wounds, but we never forget those wounds!

I've lost both friends and family in my life. Not once have I been to their graves since the funerals. Nope! We will never forget those that were once part of our lives but you have to put it behind and keep moving forward.

Kind of interesting that my co worker who identifies as straight, constantly brings up "thats gay" or "this is gay". For someone who is straight, he certainly knows about what's gay and what isnt. And by the way, he looks like an older, hairy, leather bear, but I digress.

I went through a porn addiction (when I was younger) where I rented dvds and dubbed them on to vhs (yes I'm old). Now I have a big box full of vhs movies of nothing but porn (straight and gay). One day I want to upload them all to my computer, but it would take days if not months to do so. Anyone still have their porn collection? Vhs, dvds, or both?

We always had to put a piece of tape over that slot so that we could dub both VHS and cassette. Yep. I'm old also! I no longer have any of my movies, music or video games (now that we live in a digital age...)

Oh yes, I remember that tape over that slot. And if you remember, did you ever have the vhs tape cleaner, that cleaned the vhs, I think they called it the head cleaner? Remember how it smelled? Well that and our Mom's finger nail polish remover was our introduction to poppers lol. When I first smelled poppers I was like, this smells like the vhs cleaner from back in the day lol.

I remember going to the adult video stores before the internet put them all out of business. They would have the poppers labeled as "head cleaner" so that the store could sell it legally. It was no different than the bottles we have now made by Rush, Liquid Ecstasy and the rest. In fact there's a company selling poppers online labeling it as a "room deodorizer." Oh yes I remember the dirty bookstore days! I remember being in college and extremely bored, and I ended up driving to 4 or 5 of them in one night "cruising". I had a few good hookups but nothing special. Looking back, I dont know why I didnt just find a good book to read lol. I had a few good times at the bookstore. But, there would be other dudes that wouldn't take "NO" for an answer. I would just ignore them and their advances and take a booth and lock the door. They literally would be BANGING on the door! After that I stopped going entirely. The "CREEPS" just wouldn't leave me alone!
