Someone who can support themselves and someone who really is a "social" drinker. Not a social drunk or an anti-social drunk. Someone who is real and has moved past the BS of youth. Romantic, kind, funny, compassionate. Someone able to stand on their own with me as a partner, not a convenience or a source of financial stability. If any of the below applies to you, we probably won't get along.

Lately I have been thinking a lot about my love life. I have been through the past and now look to my future. I have tried to encompass the last 35 years in what I have written. I think it's a good summary. I do retain the right to add to it as I see fit.
Here is the list of what I want in a man....

Here are some expectations and general thoughts:
1. Appreciate what is done for you as much as I appreciate what you would do for me.
2. Be dignified no matter what happens. Our business is our business!
3. Talk to me like a man. Face to face. Don't hide dehind text messaging and e-mail.
4. You will be able to count on me, will I be able to count on you??
5. Be honest with me. If there is something that needs to be talked about, then lets talk about it in a rational way.
6. If social drinking means getting drunk all the time, you are not a "social" drinker. You have a problem, please get some help.
7. If you think I am your whipping boy, you are in for a surprise. I won't deal with anyones shit anymore.
